The 6 Digit King experiement is a simple concept. I want to see if I can from nothing and turn it into $100,000. There is no time limit. Sounds tough, right? One thing I've learned in life is that the higher you set your goal, the more likely you are to achieve.
To give you an idea of what I'm thinking, I'm going to start with a few things that I can sell on e-bay to get some seed cash going. From there, I will use the seed money to build a profitable business from the ground up. I'm not sure what this business will look like. I'm starting with only a few principals and a committment to write about this journey.
As for counting the money, I'm looking for $100,000 in net profit. I will use some of the money as I go along to pay myself and my family. But, I'm still looking for $100,000 in profit. I plan on keep meticulous track of where every penny in this business goes.
Here are the principals I've outlined to guide me on this journey:

- Do Not Borrow
- Buy low, sell high
- Stay true to my values
- Include whole family
I will discuss each of these guiding principals in detail in later posts. But, for now, they're what I'm starting with. I retain the right to add to this list, but I will not change subtract. All of these principals are central into what I'm doing.
So, let it begin. On October 2nd, 2009, I'm beginning the biggest experiement of my life. Will I make it? Will I finish? I don't know. But no matter what, I think I'm going to have fun trying.
